Al-Qadisiyah Journal for Engineering Sciences is a scientific Open Access peer-reviewed journal. It publishes papers online and in hard copy in all engineering fields, including experimental, theoretical, and computational analysis. QJES publishes research papers, review papers, and case reports across the broad engineering field. All submissions to the journal will be subject to double-blind peer review from leading experts in the field from inside and outside Iraq.

Normally the first decision on the article after a double-blind peer review process is about 3-5 weeks.

All submitted manuscripts to QJES are subjected to external peer review and editorial approval. Articles will be sent to at least 2 independent reviewers in the related field. The reviewers are blinded to the authors' identities and their affiliations while the associate editors have full access to them. Authors are usually notified within 1-2 months about the first decision of their manuscript.

The article review process is free of charge, but once accepted, authors are required to pay 150$ for the publication of the article.
Upon request,  waivers or discounts on APC for international researchers are offered.
